Part One - Platform
The first part of the strategy was to establish a strong platform for growth by increasing units under management and persistence by SCV resulted in the acquisition of the Village Life (VLL) management rights in May 2007.
Part Two - Management
The second element of SCV’s strategy, which is a key part of the Company’s growth plan to become a scale operator, was the development of a management rights model, rather than leasehold model to become a “pure play manager”.
Part Three - Acquisition
The third element of SCV’s strategy is to acquire existing management rights in seniors housing in all retirement asset classes. This will broaden the SCV Group product offering and leverage the Company’s national geographic penetration.
Part Four - Value
The fourth part of the strategy is to pursue value added services and “bolt-on” opportunities leveraging from the existing customer base and creating margin expansion.
