The company has embarked upon a substantial restructure in strategy aimed at expanding the Company’s current business operations and its revenue streams during the coming year. This is focused on three key aspects:

Acquisition
- SCV’s strategy is to acquire existing management rights in seniors housing in all retirement asset classes. This will continue to broaden the SCV Group product offering and leverage the Company’s national geographic penetration.
Management
- Devoting significant resources to improving operational performance and systems;
- The breakdown of the Retail Managed Investment Schemes and restructure of the Village Life villages into standard strata-titled units and the provision of guest services such as provision of flexible food solutions, linen and other services;
- Successfully terminating three unprofitable lease agreements held with ING Real Estate Community Living Group (ILF);
- In line with the restructuring plan, the Company has embarked upon the sale of 12 strata management rights businesses;
Value
- SCV’s strategy is to pursue value added services and “bolt-on” opportunities leveraging from the existing customer base and creating margin expansion.
